Coco

Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to our sweet little Coco this month. I had noticed that she was having a much harder time moving around, and would get tired out so easily. Also, her breathing was becoming more labored. It was tricky with Nora's school schedule, but she was able to work out coming down for a couple of days to spend time with Coco and be there for her vet appointment. I was just praying that Coco would be able to hang on until Nora could get here, but she did and things went as well as they could have for such a heartbreaking situation. Coco made it to 3 years and 3 months which is an amazing life span for a rat, and she was incredibly loved.

We gave her some of her favorite snacks

I breathed a huge sigh of relief when Nora arrived. Coco was very happy to see her mama

Nora wore her hoodie backwards and Coco was able hang out in the hood

Coco loves chicken baby food

We were able to make some cute little paw print ornaments with her using soft clay

Here are a few of my favorite pictures of Coco from over the years:

Clue

The end of October and most of November have been extremely busy for Sam as a member of the stage crew, as the high school drama department got ready for their fall production - Clue. Sam helped build the complex stage set and went to hours and hours of rehearsals. I was really excited to see their play!

Mike, Marolynn, and I went to their opening night performance on Thursday evening:
They had photos of the weapons and suspects hanging up on the wall by the ticket table

We all loved the play! The cast and crew all did an incredible job and it was so funny

On Monday night Kate and I went to see it, and Ev also went with some friends

You could send a little Clue-gram with a note and a treat to an actor or crew member in the production, so we sent one to Sam. I especially liked the little magnifying glass they included in it.

Sam on the set after the play - we were super proud of Sam for his hard work and dedication

I asked Sam if he could make a little video of the stage set between productions since I loved it so much, and he obliged

The city newspaper had a fun article about the play with some photos
