Nora's Class Program

For the end of the year, Nora's class put on a little program for the parents about things they had learned during the year. They also sang some songs, and there was a slideshow with pictures from throughout the year. It was really cute! This was Nora's teacher, Miss Varner's, first year of teaching, and I think she did a great job!

Nora's Piano Recital

Tuesday evening was Nora's piano recital

Nora started piano in the fall, and she has worked hard and has made a lot of progress since then!

The Dance Festival

On Tuesday, they had the elementary school annual dance festival, where every grade performs a dance together on the field. It is a very fun tradition. The first graders did "The Twist". Nora is on the second row, in the middle with the purple visor. 

Here is the video of their dance. The little girl sitting next to us got into the spirit partway through. Hehe.

At the very end, all the grades did the chicken dance with the kindergarten. It had been threatening to rain the whole time, with a few raindrops here and there, but luckily it didn't really start to rain until the very end so all the grades got to perform.

Framing the House

I think framing is one of the funnest parts to watch of a house being built because there are noticeable changes every day, and you can see the house take shape. This series of photos was taken over the past two weeks - they started framing on May 14.
