Swimming Lessons

The girls started swimming lessons this week, and they are having a lot of fun!

 Evie's class playing "animal in a basket" - where they take turns being an animal in the middle, and the rest of the class forms a circle around them and sings "Kitty (or what ever animal they chose) in a basket, kitty in a basket, how are you gonna get out? How are you gonna get out? Can't go over, gotta swim under" and then the kid in the middle swims under someone's arms.

Pioneer Day

For Pioneer Day, I borrowed some costumes for the girls from my mom. Bethany and I wore these dresses when we were little! Nora and Evie were very excited to dress up. They made very cute little pioneers!

Later in the evening, we met up at Beth and Reece's house. The girls were trying on some of Beth's glasses.

We went up to the park by Beth's house, and met up with some other friends. Everyone brought some fireworks. It was raining at first, but we were still able to do the fireworks.

Here is Sam and Mike. Beth and Reece brought some glow in the dark necklaces/bracelets for everyone to wear, which was fun.

Nora made friends with this cute dog, Jasper. He is a very good dog!

The fireworks were really cool! Beth made a mix CD that we listened to while watching the fireworks. Evie had a good time dancing to it.

Kidderoni Pics

Today Mike and I took the kids to get some pictures taken. It is always an interesting experience! Usually the kids are so full of energy and crazy, but this time they were really tired (probably because they woke up at 6:30).
