On March 24th, we had Evie's fourth birthday party. We had it a little early since some family members are traveling this spring, and we wanted as many people to come as possible (also, Evie's birthday is on Easter this year). Evie's favorite toy is her stuffed Thumper bunny, so she picked Thumper to be her birthday theme. It's a little funny because she has never actually seen "Bambi", the movie that Thumper is from. Mom and Beth brought lots of their cute woodland decorations, and Kate and Beth decorated the house to look like a forest!

We saved the "4" pinata from the Rainbow Brite party two years ago, and redecorated it to fit the theme. I cut out the pieces of paper, and Mike glued them all on for me.
Evie wanted a Thumper cake, so this was my best attempt. I got the basic idea from this website.

So many cute little details
My mom made these little head-wreaths for the girls to wear

I went searching through my boxes of old stuff, and found my little Stinker - a skunk puppet I loved when I was little. Evie had seen the "Curious George" episode about skunks, and thought it was hilarious to go around and have stinker spray everyone. She was running around yelling "Spray! Spray! Spray!"
Mom brought lots of cute woodland stuffed animals from her house
We invited Wolfie to the party - as long as he promised not to eat Thumper! Here is Sam riding him.

All the girls wearing floral wreaths - with Sam sneaking in at the corner
Evie and the cake again - she kept asking if it was time to eat the cake yet!

Marolynn put together these little bunny-face crackers
Mom brought rabbit treats - veggies in a cup with dip

Evie was extremely excited for the cake. Mike lit the candles and brought it over while we were singing to her. Evie immediately blew out the candles before we were even half-way done with the song, so Mike lit them again to we could finish singing to her.
Evie asking if it is ok to blow them out now
Blowing out the candles - the second time. Hehe.
Then it was Thumper's turn to blow them out.
Mmmmm, cake.

I love Evie's little foot in this picture
Sam was getting a little jealous of the presents, so he sat on Grandma's lap
Beth and Reece gave Evie some fun bath supplies
She was especially excited about the fizzing eggs!
They also gave her this cute pop-up owl card.
Muppets from Kate!
Evie trying out her new magic wand (that's what the blur is!)
Curious George matching game and videos from Grammy and Grandpop
This is currently Evie's favorite pose.
She loved her Tiana shirt, little bunny and stickers from Grandma Griffin.
Making her bunnies hug each other
Evie and Nora decided to try out the Curious George matching game
Sam loved playing with the left over pieces once the matching cards were punched out
Peek-a-boo!
Partway though the game, Evie was up on the table, squatting on the edge. It looked really funny. She must have really strong legs!
We also played a game involving everyone, and CANDY! We played "warmer-colder", and on each person's turn we hid 3 pieces of candy for them to find. Some of the hiding places people came up with were pretty funny.
Thanks everyone for helping Bug have such a fun and happy birthday!
