The Burton boys came out for a visit to Utah in July, and we went to this cool Lego exhibit with them. There were 14 Lego statues in all, placed around the gardens. The girls and I had to leave early in the evening for an appointment, so we went early and made sure we saw all the sculptures by doing a power walk loop around the gardens before the others arrived.
For each of the sculptures, they had an info sign that said how many Lego bricks it took to make the sculpture, and how many hours, as well as information on the subject of the sculpture.
I thought it was fun how they placed the dragonfly in the water
The peacock was my favorite. It was so colorful and detailed!
Closeup of the feathers
The garden where they placed the wheelbarrow had some beautiful hollyhocks
I thought it was cute that they added a squirrel and a little bumblebee to the birdbath
The spider looked great hanging in this little cave
Nora was not a fan, but Sam loved the spider
We met up with everyone at the welcome center, and we rented some golf carts. Since golf carts are directed to go the opposite direction as the foot traffic, we went opposite to how we had walked around the gardens.
Monty LOVES turtles and tortoises, so this one was a big hit!
Cute lil bonsai
Group picture in front of the spider cave, hehe
We saw an actual real life fawn and doe. I couldn't believe how still they could be once they saw us.
This dude was monching down on one of the planters

I had to get a picture of Beth in front of this one because her nickname is B
Having fun with the cousins!
We had a lot of fun hanging out with family, and we were very impressed by the Lego sculptures!
