While Mike and I were in Carmel, Nora sent us some pictures:
Having sleepovers with Dorie
Max doing an interesting pose
Marolynn sent me this picture of the kids at the Cedar Hills parade
Evie was pretty excited that she got a fidget spinner from the parade
Some other pictures from this month:
Kitties hanging out with Mike in the office
We got to see the new Star Wars Solo movie. We really liked it!
These two are often observing us through the bannister
We all got to go see Tuck Everlasting at Hale Theater
Sam got an assignment from the bishop to teach a Family Home Evening lesson about the Holy Ghost. He did one where different items represented different roles of the Holy Ghost, and everyone took turns picking one out of the bag, and then he'd tell us about it
The little orange boy loves to play in the bathtub downstairs. He seems to especially love the shower curatins
Max is an expert sleeper
Sometimes we come across Max, and he is in one of these weird positions. I think he must have a different definition of comfortable...
My cuddle buddies when reading in bed
For Activity Days, we painted frames for Father's Day
Since Sam isn't technically in Activity Days, he painted a paper instead
Sam decided to give himself a haircut again...
Naptime
To prepare for Girl's Camp, Mike had Nora practice putting up and taking down the tent in the backyard a few times. The kids decided to sleep in there a couple of nights.
Evie doing some late night reading in the tent
If anyone ever gets anywhere near the closet in the bathroom with the cat treats in it, these two guys suddenly appear
The sunflower with the sunshine kitty
We finally sold the little white Accord, and got a newer one
For Pack Meeting this month, the cub scouts had a bike rodeo. They learned about bike safety, bike maintenance and repair, and had a bike course through orange cones, and some games.
Sam did a really good job going through the bike course!
I watched Louis and Dinah while Kate was on a trip. They are sure cuties
Bathroom buddies
Sam made this "You got trolled" message on the white board where I write the weekly family calendar. I really did get trolled because he didn't use a dry erase marker 😬
Oliver is always looking adorable
Evie made this lego poop shield
We have been watching some "Doctor Who", so Sam was inspired to make this cool lego Tardis
We are getting lots and lots of raspberries from our raspberry bushes in the backyard
