Easter

Easter Sunday was especially exciting this year, because we got to meet Beth and Reece's new little baby, Monty, who was born two days earlier! He is sooooo adorable!

The kids ready for the egg hunt!

Searching for eggs...

To make sure everyone got the same amount of eggs, they all dumped out all of their eggs into a pile at the end of the hunt, then they took turns picking an egg until all the eggs were gone.

V was very excited about the jelly beans!

Nora turned her peep bunny into a peep cat, hehe

V was excited to show her eggs to Mommy and Monty

FanX Spring

April 19 and 20 was the FanX Spring convention. It was really fun!

The first day I went by myself because the girls had school

The Billie Piper panel (Rose Tyler on Doctor Who)

The John Cleese panel (Monty Python, Nearly Headless Nick in Harry Potter). He was very funny and unpredictable. It kept the moderator on his toes, hahaha!

Here he said he was doing the "geriatric version" of the sillywalks 😆

The Warwick Davis Panel (Wicket in Return of the Jedi, Willow in Willow, Griphook and Professor Flitwick in Harry Potter)

Leading the audience in a "charms lesson"

This was the panel for the show Lucifer, with Tom Ellis and Aimee Garcia. I haven't actually watched this show, but the panel was very entertaining

I was super excited for this panel - Angela Kinsey, Oscar Nunez, and Brian Baumgartner. They played the accounting department from The Office (Angela, Oscar, and Kevin)

Azog the orc

The second day the girls wanted to come. We rode in on the train

This photo op was pretty funny!

Getting ready to watch some panels

The first panel was Zachary Levi (Chuck in Chuck, Flynn Rider in Tangled, Shazam in Shazam)

Next was Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films)

After answering questions, he performed several songs - singing and guitar

This was the Aladdin panel with Scott Weinger and Linda Larkin (the voices of Aladdin and Princess Jasmine). Scott Weinger also played Steve in Full House and Fuller House, and so several people asked him questions about that.

Part way through the panel, Irene Bedard joined in (she did the voice of Pocahontas)

Lunch break

Wandering around the vendor floor

We found Slimer

The scared version

The Doctor Who booth was really cool and had several costumes on display

In the TARDIS

There were a few statue photo ops:

Deadpool

Gollum and Gandalf

How Evie really felt about standing next to Gollum, hehe

The display by the cotton candy cart

We got a photo op with Scott Weinger. I loved watching Full House growing up, and the kids love watching Fuller House!

Some amazing balloon creations in Kid Con

The Superfan Action Figure photo op, hehe

This balloon cyberman costume was amazing

Evie bought a Japanese cat on the vendor floor

Outside the Salt Palace on our way back to Trax
