On Monday we went to the Church Museum downtown with Grammy, Karin, Andrew, John, Ben and Will. We spent most of the time in the children's section, which is very cute and has lots of fun activities for little kids.
Nora was a little scared of the Angel Moroni statue
Nora's favorite part of the children's section was the nursery, set up to be like a hospital newborn nursery. There were several baby dolls, each with their own little bin of clothes and blankets. There was a little station in the middle with a scale for weighing the babies, and a pretend stethoscope and blood pressure cuff. There was also two rocking chairs, and a bottle. Nora loved taking care of all the little baby dolls.
Nora and Ben made a little boat out of the plastic chairs
Creating a "stained glass" window
The Nativity scene - they had little costumes there and Nora dressed up as a shepherd, but I wasn't fast enough and couldn't get a picture of her before she took it off!
Evelyn enjoyed getting out of the stroller and hanging out with Grammy
On Thursday, we went to the Dinosaur Museum with Karin and the boys. Nora was very excited and started saying "Dinosaur! Dinosaur! Dinosaur!" as soon as we walked in and saw the dinosaur skeleton in the lobby.

There were a few times that Nora got a little worried about certain exhibits, and she would look at me and say "Scared. Scared. Hold" and then put her arms up for me to pick her up. One of these times was with the shark exhibit that has two very large fake sharks. She got a little less scared when we said "Hi shark. Bye Bye shark" and waved to it. She even ran back to the sharks when we had moved on to say "bye bye shark" again. Hehehe.
