On the cruise we had 3 days at sea, and this was our first one while we were sailing from Norway, up and out to Iceland.
Our day got off to a fun start with a character breakfast in Animator's Palate
The kids love hanging out in the portholes
Mike and I enjoyed attending the "Anyone Can Cook" demonstrations they had throughout the cruise.
We saw Mickey and Minnie dressed up in their traditional costumes
Since the show that night was going to be "Tangled the Musical", they got everyone into the spirit by having the O'Gills Pub on the ship tuned into the Snuggly Duckling from Tangled. It was really fun and hilarious
Lots of Tangled decorations by the theater
They had this Flynn-annotated map projected on the stage before the show
We got there extra early for this show because I LOVE Tangled, and wanted a good seat. The kids were good sports.
This Rapunzel-annotated map was projected on the stage after the show
It was my very favorite show of the trip - they did an excellent job!
Hanging out before dinner
They had a family event in the Snuggly Duckling pub, so Mike took the kids so they could go see it
Dinner was the Brazilian menu night at Carioca's
Evie on the walkway inspired by the one at Copacabana Beach
Our servers made all of us funny hats out of napkins and other restaurant supplies
After dinner, Kate and I went to the Snuggly Duckling to play "THUGO" (a thug inspired BINGO)
After that, Kate, Mike and I went to go see one of Mike's favorite events on Disney Cruises - the Match Your Mate game show. They pick 3 couples from the audience to participate - the one that has been married for the least amount of time, the one that has been married for the longest, and then one that is in the middle. They send the men out of the room and ask the women questions about their relationship (what was your first date, what is the most romantic thing he has ever done, etc.), and then bring the men back and ask them the same questions and see if they give the same answer. Then they do the same thing with the women going out. It is always really funny!
We came back to our room to find a little monkey hanging out there!
As we were getting farther and farther north, it stayed lighter later and later.
This is my "midnight sun" picture - taken just after midnight!
