November Misc.

Here are a few more pictures from November:

Shenanigans

Resting after shenanigans

Now that it's getting cooler, Oliver really enjoys it when he can find a good sunny spot

Mike set up a folding table to be the miniature painting table

My Mom's November dinner table

We celebrated Kate's and my Dad's birthdays

Homemade cards from Monty and V

Playing in the leaves

This was a big month for Sam. for the first two weeks of November, he had stage crew practice for the school play every day after school, and also long practices on Saturday. It was a big commitment, but the play turned out really well!

Here he is figuring out his black outfit so he wouldn't be seen during scene changes

The stage crew all signed each other's posters, which was fun

These two share a love of soft blankets. It is cute when they cuddle by each other

Nora applied to be the Trade and Tech Sterling Scholar. This month she found out that she won for her school!

I needed a picture of both of the rats together for the pet Christmas card. I thought I could just go get one really fast. 60 blurry pictures later, I did manage to get a few acceptable ones:

A couple of the outtakes, lol

The dog park is really beautiful in autumn

The tree outside of Juno's favorite window

Dorie watching TV with Mike

Ev and Nora with their carnation project from the Floral Design class

They used colored water to change the colors of the flowers

On the 15th I had another surgery. This is my third one this year, and hopefully third time is the charm for getting this issue resolved. I was in a lot of pain for my first week, so I was grateful for my little animal buddies that kept me company.

Nora got French student of the month

For some reason Oliver likes taking naps by Sam's cello

It finally got me - I tested positive for Covid a couple of days before Thanksgiving. Boo!

Mike made us some yummy soup and a gluten-free pie for Thanksgiving dinner, since we couldn't spend it with the extended family because of Covid.

I actually decorated for Thanksgiving earlier this month, which ended up being nice since we were home for Thanksgiving. It seems like some years are so busy that by the time I get all the Halloween stuff put away, it is time for Christmas!

Playing some Jackbox games

Dorie took a Thanksgiving selfie with me

Between recovering from surgery and Covid, I spent a lot of the month not feeling good. Dorie and I ended up watching the whole series of "Behind the Attraction" on Disney+. Each episode is about a different ride and how it was developed, what challenges needed to be overcome, how the different imagineers worked together, etc. It is a really interesting series if you like Disney parks.

We got some snow over Thanksgiving, and I got some pictures of this tree in our backyard. I love the look of the snow and the red berries together.

Oliver is still my office buddy

We started keeping the cat treats in the cabinet above the toilet since Juno and Max are sneaky and have figured out how to get the jar of treats from the other bathroom cabinet and the bookcase. Now every time I go in there, I am greeted by either Max or Juno sitting on the toilet in hopes of getting the treats 😑

Kate brought over some food from my family and these pretty flowers

The bird-watching has been pretty good this month

Juno is adorable when she watches TV. She always wants to be on the crack between two couch cushions

Max loves the little red chair

I was taking a bath, and Juno walked around the edge of the tub and climbed into the window above the tub

Realizing that she can't get out without jumping into the tub, lol
