Disneyland Countdown!

Yay! We have less than a week until we leave for California. Nora is very excited, and anytime we put on our coats and shoes she asks, "Going to Disneyland?". Just for fun, I thought I would post some drawings that I found a little while ago that I drew of my favorite Disneyland rides when I was 7.

Haircuts

Nora got her first haircut on Sunday. After her shower I was brushing it out, and decided to even out the bottom and give it a little trim. I think it looks really cute. I got a haircut on Wednesday, and am enjoying having shorter hair.

9 Months Already?

Evelyn is 9 months old! I took her on Saturday to get her pictures taken, and I love the results. Her fuzzy hair is so cute.

Bread Day and New Year's Eve

A few days after Christmas, we went up to Salt Lake to go to bread day - the holiday get-together with my mom's side of the family. After that we spent a few days up at my parents' house, and had a chance to spend time with my family. We had a really fun time!

Mike and the girls in front of my Aunt Sue's awesome Disney character tree. That is always a big hit with the kids

Nora had a special stool to stand on and had a great time helping with the bread. She decided that we should make our bread shaped like Pooh Bear

The crazy cousins - Nora and Ben

We had a really nice New Year's Eve dinner

(Unfortunately Nora got a tummy bug, and was not feeling well for the rest of the evening, so that is why she isn't in the pictures - poor babes!)

After dinner we opened some Christmas presents

As you can see, we were excited to get the Disneyland Encyclopedia.

Evie got to be the baby new year

We watched the movie "Lars and the Real Girl". It was different from what I was expecting, but I thought it was good.

Happy 2009!

Poor Nora, she was so cute. Trying to be a good sport even though she wasn't able to be at the party. Mike took very good care of her.

We went home to recuperate for a few days, and on Sunday when everyone was feeling well again we had a family get together, and Nora and Evie were excited to finish opening the presents
