November Misc.

A few more pictures from November:

Evie is a good helper in the kitchen!

Dorie hides her treasures in her crate - in this case an empty Red Vines box 😕
(it was already empty when she found it!)

While Mike and I were in Japan, Evie got her big habitat assignment. She did it by herself, and she got a perfect grade on it.

Is max sleeping?

Peeking - hehe

I saw this in the women's restroom in a restaurant

Mike was looking through some of his old things, and found this treasure...

Vienne is a very expressive conversationalist

You never know where a wild Max could be lurking

One day I was looking through my phone's photos, and I clicked on people, where it does facial recognition for the people that you take a lot of photos of, and groups together the pictures of them. It was looking pretty normal until I saw the picture in the lower right corner

I clicked on it, and it was a huge album filled mostly with pictures of Evie wearing her Rey shirt. There was even a picture that had a Star Wars gift bag in the background that had a picture of Rey on it. I guess Rey is part of the family now.

Max looking like a little roast turkey

Someone wanted to go with us to Disney World

The place where Dorie went for boarding while we were gone had a really cute Christmas tree

John's Concert, and Travel Home

On our last day we attended the event that inspired the whole trip - John's concert!

First we checked out of our hotel and had them hold our luggage, then took an Uber to the Coronado Springs Hotel Convention Center where the concert was being held.

The Coronado Springs was a really pretty hotel

The concert was really awesome! They did a great job

Getting a family picture with John

We stopped for some lunch at the food court there

Going back to our hotel to pick up our luggage and catch the Magical Express to the airport

We had a little bit of time before the Magical Express came, so we explored around the hotel a little more, and went to go see the little Mermaid Section which we hadn't been to yet

 In the airport

Getting some goodbye hugs from V

It was such a fantastic trip! The kids had cousin and Disney withdrawls for the next little while

Magic Kingdom and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

The last park we visited was Magic Kingdom

The floral Mickey was an ornament made of poinsettias

We started the day with (a) Splash

Sam getting a five from Liver Lips McGrowl

We met up with everyone else for our first fastpass of the day - the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

While Beth and Reece rode the Mine Train, the rest of us took V on Winnie the Pooh

Having fun with Grandpop

Next was Peter Pan!

My Fav - Small World!

If you look closely - the rectangle in the middle has our names on it

Enchanted Tales with Belle

Sam got cast as the Wardrobe due to his lovely opera singing voice. Evie was cast as a portrait. Nora declined to participate this time - hehe.

Getting a picture with Belle and Lumiere after the show

V was pretty excited to go on the Little Mermaid ride!

We had late lunch reservations at the Liberty Tree Tavern

Coloring while waiting for our party to be called

Some of us had the all-you-can-eat family style turkey dinner. It was sure good!

Doing some time in the pillory...

There's no such thing as too much Small World! (some family members may disagree...)

Haunted Mansion

Getting our wrist bands for the Christmas Party

Grammy and Grandpop riding pirates (and being photobombed by Beth and Reece, haha)

At nighttime they had fun holiday projections decorating the park

We definitely wanted to go on the Jingle Cruise!

One of the things included with your ticket to the Christmas party were these treat stations around the park. Each one was handing out different holiday treats

Snowman pretzel and snowcone

We rode Big Thunder Mountain several times!

Nora was wearing her Peter Pan shirt, so we stopped to take a picture by Never Land

Each treat station was marked with one of these giant inflatable candy sticks

Cider and cookies

Sparkling cider and chocolates

The lines were really short for most of the rides, so the kids wanted to go on all of the big rides over and over! It was their dream come true - tons of treats, and tons of rides!

Waiting for the parade to start

There was a little show for the lighting of the castle

It was "snowing" on Main Street!

The Holiday Parade was so cute

After the parade, a group (including most of the kids) went to ride more rides, and another group sat in a spot in front of the castle to get a good spot for the castle show and fireworks.

This was the castle show - including singers, dancers and lots of Disney characters! There were also different projections on the castle for each song.

The holiday fireworks were beautiful

Back on Main Street to enjoy the snow (which seemed to be bits of bubble foam)

Sandy Claws was out for character greetings

We hit a few more treat stations

What a fun night!
