Last week was a little rough. On Sunday, Evie started throwing up and Sam had a really runny nose. On Monday, all 3 kids had fevers, and poor Sam was acting really lethargic. As things progressed over the next few days, we realized that Sam and Nora had foot, hand and mouth disease, since they got blistery rashes in those areas. Evie continued to throw up for several days and never got a rash, so I have no idea if she had the same thing with different symptoms, or a different thing all together. Poor kids! After a few days, I started getting cabin fever, but couldn't really take a bunch of sick kids anywhere. I am glad to say that they seem to be over it all now!

After Sam's fever went away, he was a pretty happy little guy. He just had the rash and sores all over his legs, arms and around his mouth.
His poor legs got it the worst
I was working on the laundry, and noticed as I was taking back another load that Sam had dragged the step-stool out of the bathroom and put it right in front of the TV cabinet and was sitting there to watch his show. It looked so uncomfortable craning his neck like that, but I guess it didn't bother him. I put him in the sleep sacks again to keep him from scratching his legs.
Uh oh, Sadie is in need of rescue!
After I got Sadie back, Nora wanted to hold her.
Awwww.
