December Misc.

A few more pictures from December:

Nora took this while taking a walk with Dorie

Nora worked really hard on this art project, and I think it turned out so great!

One of the kids took this series of pictures of Olls playing with a toy puffin on the stairs, hehe

Sleepy boys

When we were putting up the Christmas decorations, we found something so amazing - a book Sam made last year that he had hidden. It is a re-telling of the Three Little Pigs that Sam made up called "The Three Little Wizards and the Big Bad Voldemort". It is about Harry, Ron and Hermione and I love it so much!

Sam getting an award in Pack Meeting

For their Pack Meeting activity this month, they made little notes to send to the missionaries from our ward.

They decorated Christmas cookies for their treat

My favorite wrapping paper

Sleeping Sam

Sam's cubmaster loves creamed tuna on toast, and made up a scout cheer about it, and is always telling the boys that they should try it, so we tried it one night for dinner. It was pretty good

Having a special family night out at P.F. Chang's (Nora was at a friend's house)

I am very proud of Max. He is trying really hard to learn to be a lap cat. It is a little tricky for him since he is such a big cat, but he has been doing a good job 💓

Oliver peeking over Mike's shoulder

The cats in one of their favorite spots

Nora and Dorie were hiding in the back of the van (don't worry, the van was parked)

Andrew sent me this cute picture when he got our Christmas package in Albania. We are very proud of him.

Mike doing some pie baking

Mike and I went on a little date night to Happy Sumo. The Riverwoods looked really fun with all the lights.

Little Oliver is so cute. He also has very high-pitched, squeaky meows that are adorable.

Family Fun Day

January 2 was supposed to be ski/snowboarding day with the family, but since it was super, super cold, we decided to do some fun things INDOORS!

We started out by watching a movie that we (Karin, Beth, Kate and I) watched a ton in our childhood - Return to OZ

Ahhh - the room of heads. It is still just as weird as I remembered it. Haha

We went out for a late lunch to David's Kitchen - which has delicious Chinese food

In the evening, we went to our house to play some VR

V enjoyed dressing up in the Tinkerbell dress

The kids also played some games on the Switch

Cute James exploring the ocean

V wasn't quite sure about putting on the VR headset, but she looked into the screen to see the ocean experience

We also played some Jackbox games

Before it was time to go, Thomas wanted to play with the cats
It was a pretty awesome way to spend the last day of Christmas break!\
