Family Halloween Party

It was technically November by the time we had our Halloween party, but it was still just as fun!

These are crackers with cheese spread on top and spiders made of olives. The spiders turned out a lot creepier looking than I thought they would. Yikes!

Mini Jack-o-lantern oranges, and BOOnanas

Our 2 Disney princesses - Beth as Ariel and Kate as Jasmine

Our family - Sam did something to Mike's hat. I found the pom pom that was on top pulled apart and scattered around his room, but couldn't find the hat, so we have a hatless Waldo. I was an enchantress (or something like that), Evie was the Queen of Hearts, Nora was a Kangaroo and Sam was Mario.

Marolynn with the kids. When she came to the door in her costume, the kids didn't recognize her, hehe.

It was lots of fun!

Happy Halloween!

There is always a lot going on for Halloween! Marolynn helped at the preschool trick-or-treat for Sam, since I was at the elementary school helping with the girls' parties. She took a few pictures for me, and I love seeing all the cute preschool kids in their costumes.

The morning at the elementary school started out with the annual Halloween parade

Next, I went to go help with Evie's class party. For a homework assignment, they sent home these little paper doll outlines and the kids and their parents decorated them like the child's Halloween costume. They were all hanging up in the hallway outside the classroom, and were so fun.

Evie's class did their classroom stations before the party, so I got to watch them do that. This sand table is very cool.

Evie and her teacher. I loved the minion costume!

After I took Evie home, I went back to help with Nora's party. They had their Halloween poems hanging outside in the hallway. Here is Nora's:

The toilet paper mummy game!

I was in charge of the "Don't eat Pete!" station. The kids always get a kick out of that game.

The kids were very excited to go trick-or-treating in the evening. Their big request was that we go trick-or-treating to the old house, so we started down our old street and then made our way over to our new street. For a change of pace this year, I took the kids out, and Mike handed out candy at the house.

Sam was very thrilled with his candy stash!
