Wizarding Dayz is a fun fantasy-themed event at the Expo Center that we discovered last year! The kids were VERY excited to go again! It ran on Friday and Saturday the 22nd and 23rd.
The kids and I went on Friday after school:
We started out by getting some butter beer
This year they had a sword fighting arena with foam swords. As soon as Sam saw that, he wanted to be a part of it!
Nora was most excited to go see the snakes at the Creature Encounters booth. Sam tried holding Rosie, the Chilean Rose Tarantula
Sam somehow convinced Nora to hold her too, which is pretty amazing since Nora is freaked out by spiders
Nora was much happier when we moved on to the snakes, hehe
The corn snakes were named Snow White and Prince Charming, awwww!

Sam really wanted to go back and do the sword fighting again, and this time Evie also joined in

Mike came with us on Saturday, and we also met up with Beth, Reece, V, and Kate!
