We celebrated Easter last Sunday with my side of the family.
Here was the cute table

After dinner, Kate took the kids into my parents' bedroom and played with them in there while Beth and I hid the eggs and set out the Easter baskets. Here are the baskets waiting for the kids to find them.

His favorite treat - freeze dried little pieces of fruit

Nora and Evie were very excited about the egg hunt

After they found all the eggs, they settled in the nest to check out their spoils

Then Sam decided to join them

A few cute pictures of the 3 kids in the nest (not shown: the pictures of Evie having a meltdown because Sam was touching her eggs)

Nora found a peep bunny in one of her eggs!

All the excitement wore Sam out!

Next we did a few crafts and activities. First we made some cotton candy bunnies.

Next, we dyed some eggs - and with the girls, that is quite an adventure!

Beth had gotten one kit where you could make marbled eggs. You put little dots of dye on the egg with a dropper, and then rubbed them around with plastic-bag covered hands. The girls thought this was a blast!

I tried it out, too

We also had some metallic accents that we put on the dyed eggs with glue

Most of the finished eggs - we did have a few casualties along the way. Nora made one egg that had all the colors mixed together, and was totally smashed on one side. She said to Beth, "It's a really ugly one, but I hope you still like it". Awwww.
